3. Stevenson rising from the aches to make the playoffs and reach the Division III semifinals.
4. Marina capturing the CAL title, beating Carmel for a playoff spot, then not turning in its paperwork to compete in the playoffs.
5. Soledad producing a school record 280 runs and 24 wins.
