Alec Abend

The former Carmel High outfielder was named to the Midland Collegiate Athletic Conference first team as a right fielder for York College in Nebraska.
 Abend hit .302 in 55 starts this past spring. He was second on the team in runs scored (44), doubles (13) and runs batted in (47). He also hit two home runs.
