Seaside is going to pile up some big points on the track, perhaps much as 100 points. My concern for them is in the field, where the program has little depth in all six field events.
I think 120 points wins the Pacific Division boys title. Christopher is going to run off with its first Pacific Division girls track and field title
Individually, three Central Coast Section leaders will be on the track tonight in Gilroy, including Seaside's Jayla Scholis, the defending CCS 200 meter champion.
Scholis is the CCS leader in the 100 meters (12.05) and is currently second in the 200 after setting a new school record seven days ago at 24.51.
Watsonville's Brianna Cueva is the section leader in the discus (136-7). The Wildcatz Raymond Silver has leaped a section best 6-6 3/4 in the high jump.
In addition, Alvarez's Quentin Minor is among the CCS leaders in the 200 (22.12).
