Devin Pearson

The two-time Herald Athlete of the Year is hitting .313 for the Cal baseball team, taking over the starting center field job.
 Pearson recently hit his first collegiate home run. Four of his 10 hits have been for extra bases. In eight starts, the freshman has scored five runs and has walked six times in the lead off role.
