A pitchers dual is expected today when Stevenson's Tucker Forbes and King City's Nick Sinclair match strikes.
The 6-foot-8 Forbes is 5-0, having allowed one earned run all season in 28 innings with 30 strikeouts.
Sinclair is 5-1 in seven appearances with 28 strikeouts. His only loss was at Carmel.
Overshadowed by their pitcher heroics has been their efforts at the plate. Forbes leads the Pirates in hits while Sinclair leads King City in runs batted in.
