Notre Dame-North County softball

 The Condors are the most improved team in the county this spring, having already equaled last year's entire win total with nine.
 Their last setback was a 1-0 nailbitter to Christopher, who is 10-2 overall and unbeaten in the MBL.
 Notre Dame is more of a measuring stick for North County, who has hit a county leading eight home runs this year -- three from Andrea Estigoy.
 Even though the Spirits have struggled at 4-6, they are still regarded as one of the premier teams in the county. Five of their losses have come from CCS ranked teams.
