Salinas baseball

 This was a senior heavy team last year with 11 -- three of which were all-leaguers for Salinas.
 The cupboard, though, is far from bare with the return of all-league third baseman Anthony Teresa, who tore up TCAL pitching last year.
 Injuries depleted Salinas' pitching staff last season. This spring 13 players on the roster have pitching experience, including 6-foot-4 Jose Ontiveros.
 Two sophomores and a freshman were brought up to the varsity. My hunch is they're not there to sit and watch.
