North County soccer

On Jan. 13 -- Friday the 13th -- the Condors had dropped their second league game.
All of a sudden, a program that had opened the year with eight straight wins, had dropped two of its last three and was sitting in third place in the Monterey Bay League.
Only two teams out of the MBL were going to make the playoffs.
From that point on, the Condors have approached each game like a must win.
 Why stop now?
North County is now one win shy of its first Central Coast Section soccer title.
Along the path has come a school record for wins (20), a school record 11-game unbeaten streak, and a win over the defending Division III champions.
