The defending MTAL champion Padres have an ace on the mound in Virginia Tech bound Tyler Knight and a dynamic late inning closer in Filippo Talucci.
But this team is loaded at the plate with six returning starters, including Devin Pearson, Zack Schneider and Dom Bifano.
Bifano is the heart of the 3-0 Padres, as he also returns as the teams starting catcher.

I think King City could be a sleeper in the MTAL this year - Nick Sinclair is among the top 3-4 arms in the county this year. Carmel has that tradition though...should be a good race.
