MBL projected baseball finishes

Monterey Bay League
1. Monterey:
Daniel Edwards is coming off a 12-1 season on the mound, hurling the Toreadores to a CCS title. R.J. Shird is an imposing left-handed hitter at 6-6 and 230 pounds.
2. Monte Vista: Pitching is clearly the Mustangs strength, having allowed just two runs during a current three-game winning streak.
3. Christopher: The most improved team in the MBL, the Cougars did not have a senior on last year's team. Patrick Valdez is a returning all-league outfielder.
4. North County: A trip to Hawaii last week didn't go well on the field as the Condors were outscored 37-8 in three losses in Honolulu.
4. Watsonville: The Wildcatz are going to have to out slug teams, having given up 45 runs in five games. Watsonville has had one winning season in the last decade.
6. Seaside: There are clearly some athletes on this team — from others sports. Meaning baseball is foreign. Still a new coach has created new visions.
7. Pajaro Valley: The Grizzlies can go nowhere but up after an 0-19 season that included being shutout 15 times last spring. Pajaro Valley was blanked 10-0 in its opener.
