Seven of the 10 teams Sacred Heart Cathedral faced this fall are in the playoffs. Of course, six of them came out of the West Catholic Athletic League.
The Irish did stumble down the stretch, dropping their last three games by a combined score of 103-27.
Granted the MBL isn't the WCAL.
But Monterey outscored its last three opponents 116-20. During its current six game winning streak, it has outscored the opposition 210-46.
Monterey is 5-0 when it's the host team this year -- 3-0 over the last two years at MPC.
