The Lobos season isn't over after all.
Because MPC was ranked in the state and shared the Coast Conference title, it was invited and accepted a bowl bid to the Sierra Credit Union Bowl in Marysville.
The Lobos (7-3) will face Yuba College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Yuba (6-4) closed the season with a 24-14 win over No. 17 Contra Costa, finishing second in the Bay Valley Conference to Solano.
Solano will face Coast Conference co-champion Hartnell on Saturday in the Living Breath Foundation Bowl at 1 p.m. at Cabrillo College.
