The race for second

One week into the Mission Trail Athletic League girls basketball season and six of the eight teams are 1-1.
No one is going to touch Carmel.
But the next six teams are capable of finishing in second, which will make for many meaningful games.
Then again, all you have to do is finish with a .500 record to make the playoffs in basketball.
