There is a rumor that the Salinas Jaycees All-Star football game is Friday, Jan. 14 at Monterey Peninsula College.
I call it a rumor because I haven't heard a thing. And four football coaches I spoke with said they didn't know when it was.
This is not the way to get publicity for kids.
