North County
It seems each fall the Condors are the forgotten team out in Castroville. Flying under the radar suits them just fine.
Winning streaks of four and three games last year propelled them into the postseason -- again.
Michael Brown led the team in touchdowns last fall as a sophomore with 13 on just 64 touches. His versatility will make him a threat on the wing in the Condors fly attack.
While the interim tag hasn't officially been taken off, head coach Sean Gomes provides stability. Lineman Richie Casas is one of the best in the Monterey Bay League.
This is a team that potentially could start the year 5-0. Winning its first league title in eight years, though, might be a reach.
