Surfing the channels

I'll admit it. I took in about three minutes of the WNBA all-star game on Sunday.
In that time, I saw an individual dribble the ball off her shoe, a pair of air balls and a pass that appeared intended for the fan in the front row.
Just like an NBA all-star affair.
I also saw a dunk. However, it was an uncontested dunk where everyone just stood and watched, almost crossing their fingers hoping the young women could put it down.
A women's dunk will become a big deal when she goes up and over a defender and puts it down.
Otherwise, it looked like what every kid or middle age man tries to do on the playground on a nine-foot basket.
