What made any of us (well I) think that the A's would make a trade with the Giants?
The Giants needed former A's outfielder Matt Holliday to make a playoff push. Instead, the A's shipped him to the Cardinals.
The more I thought about it, there was no way the A's were going to help a franchise that is stopping their purposed move San Jose.
I can't say I blame them.
