I find it hard to understand why it's so difficult to fill out a roster for any all-star game for graduating seniors, or why coaches don't want to coach it?
This Saturday's Salinas Lions Club all-star baseball game may have just 10 players on the Peninsula squad and 12 on the Valley roster.
Getting the word out sooner to players might help get a commitment. But the peninsula is one injury or one no-show away from not having a full roster for an all-star game.
