 It's a unique situation that the Falcons find themselves in each season.
 Non-league games are -- well virtually non-existent.
 York played one non-league game in the eight weeks leading up to its league opener. Last year it did not play any preseason games.
 Just once over the last decade has the program played more than one non-league game. Basketball is not the objective for attending York.
 All that being said, the Falcons are making a case to be a title contender in the Arroyo Division after opening league play with two straight wins.
 There are just two teams left that are undefeated in league.
 A month after playing one non-league game, York opened league play with a one-point thriller, then posted an impressive win over Ceiba.
 The return of starting guard Jerry Wu -- an all-leaguer last year in the old Coastal Athletic League, has ignited an offense, as he's averaging over 15 points a game.
 Edwin Gao and Albert Matei each have provided double digits in the scoring column, with Matei a threat on the perimeter.
 York clearly has more depth than in the past with holdovers Owen Yu and Kevin Wang. And now it has confidence as it hopes to put itself in uncharted waters.
