Ryan Jensen will begin his junior season at Fresno State as one of the teams most versatile pitchers.
A reliever as a freshmen for the Bulldogs, the 6-foot, 180-pound Jensen made 18 appearances last year as a sophomore, 11 as a starter.
The right-hander won two games and recorded two saves last spring, striking out 66 hitters in 67 innings of work.
As a freshmen, Jensen finished among the conference leaders in appearances with 29, posting a 3-0 record with 35 strikeouts in 43 2/3 innings of work.
A three-sport standout at Salinas High, Jensen was a member of The Herald's All-County baseball and football teams.
