Pacific Grove boys hoops

No question the Breakers will be battled tested going into Mission Division play next week.
Pacific Grove's final three non-league games are against Monterey, Palma and Carmel - all members of the Gabilan Division.
During the course of its preseason, Pacific Grove has faced Salinas, Milpitas and Branson. Three of its four losses this winter have been by a combined nine points.
While that dynamic scoring threat is missing, this might be the most balanced team head coach Dan Powers has put on the court.
For the first time in the Powers era, three players are averaging over 10 points a game. Among them is Jack Sendell, who has more 3-point goals than field goals, averaging 12.80 points a night.
Josh Cryns and Tyler Christianson are both dropping in over 11 points a game through 10 games for the Breakers. Sendell has hit 18 of his last 22 free throw attempts.
A shot in the arm has come with the return of Keith Ray. Inactive for the teams first six games, the senior has scored 17 points in his last two games.
