 While junior Angela Leavitt is having a breakout year, averaging 14 plus points a game, this is a unit that relies on its core to chase wins.
 While last year's sophomore fab four are back, another sophomore this season is making an imprint in Corrine Sargenti, who is averaging over nine points and nine rebounds a game.
 No senior starts on the Spirits as Mariah Schlapfer, Kely Kinion and Grace Briley are all holdovers from last year's team.
 Notre Dame plays tenacious defense, having held seven teams under 40 points this year, including its last three wins.
 Its depth allows them to apply pressure and be aggressive with the ball.
