Mason Foster

 The former Seaside High quarterback compiled a career high 133 tackles this past season for the Washington Redskins.
 Foster recorded 38 more tackles than his nearest teammate. The Redskins inside linebacker also had two interceptions and fell on a pair of fumbles.
 In eight years in the NFL, Foster has compiled 666 tackles and 8.5 sacks. The 6-foot-1, 245-pounder has eight interceptions in his career, returning two for touchdowns.
 Originally drafted in the third round by Tampa Bay, Foster has compiled 125 or more tackles twice for the Redskins.
 The Herald's Defensive Player of the Year in 2006, Foster quarterbacked Seaside to the programs first Central Coast Section Divisional title that season.
