The Bruins can really make things interesting in the Santa Lucia Division Thursday with a win over once-beaten Oakwood of Morgan Hill.
While winning gets contagious, there was never a concern about how Greenfield would react after dropping three straight games to open league.
Injuries and illnesses left the Bruins shorthanded for a stretch. With the personnel back in place, the program is seeking redemption in the second half.
Greenfield erased a 25-point loss to Watsonville by opening the second half of league Tuesday with a six-point win over the Wildcatz.
The Bruins come at you with a different scoring leader each game, as Angel Villagomez, Augustin Pantoja, Oscar Villagomez and Angel Espinosa are all averaging over 10 points a game.
Yet, the recent surge can be attributed to its defensive effort, as Greenfield has allowed just 49 points a game during its current three-game winning streak.
