Jamaree Bouyea has found a role off the bench for the University of San Francisco men's basketball team, averaging 25.8 minutes through nine games.
The sophomore guard is shooting 48 percent from the field, averaging 7.4 points a game. Bouyea is also pulling down 4.2 rebounds a night for the Dons.
The Palma High graduate is second on the team in assists with 14 and third in steals with 11. Bouyea had a college career high 14 points against Harvard and scored seven in a win over Cal last Wednesday.
Bouyea, a two-time Herald Basketball Player of the Year, led Palma to three league titles and a spot in the State Division IV championships in 2016.
