The Otters have hired former UC San Diego coach Jim Ragan as their new women's golf coach.
Ragan was the 2001 and 2004 NCAA Region Coach of the Year, and the Big 12 Coach of the Year in 2006 at Oklahoma, leading them to a Big 12 title.
He also was an assistant at Texas in 1994 when it finished third at the NCAA Championships. Ragan has coached 13 All-Americans during his tenure.
