Freshman Luke Hiserman has received the ITA Scholar-Athlete honor for the Willamette University men's tennis team.
To receive the award, athletes must have at least a 3.50 grade point average.
Hiserman, who prepped at Pacific Grove, played in all 12 matches last spring, competing in both singles and doubles for Willamette.
He spent most of the year as the teams No. 5 singles player and played No. 3 doubles.
