Jamaree Bouyea began his sophomore season last Tuesday for the University of San Francisco men's basketball team as a reserve guard.
He opened the season by getting 23 minutes of action, scoring six points in the Dons win over UC Davis.
The 6-foot-2 playmaker appeared in 36 games last year as a true freshman for the Dons, the fifth most in school history.
The 19-year-old averaged 13.2 minutes and 2.8 points a game last year, while starting a handful of games.
Bouyea was a three-year starter at Palma, earning The Herald's Basketball Player of the Year honor twice.
