Mike Cortez
Platooning in the backfield last year, Cortez still rushed for nearly 700 yards and five touchdowns for Salinas. He also caught 12 passes out of the backfield for a touchdown.
The seniors strength is his vision and power, as he carries tacklers an extra yard or two. Cortez also has deceptive speed when bursting through a hole.
