Best moments of the college sports season

1.  Behind Ricky Esqueda, Hartnell won the Northern California men's cross country title, finishing fifth overall in the state.

2. The Otters baseball team equaled the single season school record for wins with 39, capturing the California Collegiate Athletic Association baseball title.

3. Fresno State bound quarterback Hunter Raquet put on a show last fall for MPC, guiding them to a share of the American Golden Conference football title.

4. The Lobos softball team went out and won their second straight Coast Conference title for the first time in school history, surpassing 30 wins.

5. The Panthers women's track team followed their record 343 point total at the conference finals by winning the Northern California team title.

6. California Collegiate Athletic Association champion Elis Svard qualified for the NCAA Division II national golf championships for CSUMB -- just the second player in school history.

7. Returning outside hitter and Seaside grad Anela Visesio compiled nearly 300 kills last year as the Otters volleyball team posted a 14-13 record.

8. Behind medalist Grayson Stapleton, MPC went out and won the Coast Conference men's golf title and finished second at the Northern California championships.
