Caleb Llorin-Fernandez had a solid debut for the MPC men's track team, capturing the 800 (1:59.47) and 1,500 (4:10.35) at the MPC Classic.
Teammate Denzel Hayes won the high jump, inches in front of teammate Ryan Orlando, while Jacob Cervantes claimed the javelin, with Jason Adams finishing third.
Jayson Johnson was third in the 400 (52.41), a stride ahead of Pacific Grove grad and teammate Nick Coppla.
Tyshaliq Mctavish was second in the long jump for the Lobos while Srna McBee finished third in the women's 400. Natalie Robinson was also third in the javelin.
