Pitman-North Salinas football

Friday's game
Pitman, Turlock (2-2) vs. North Salinas (2-1) at Rabobank, 7:30 p.m.
One of the Pride's seven wins last fall came against North Salinas, who has already equaled last years entire win total.
A member of the SAC Joaquin Section, Pitman's offense starts with running backs Tyress Pope and Blake McBay, both of which scored touchdowns in last years win over North Salinas.
Both the Pride's wins this year over Lincoln and Deer Valley were shutouts. Defense has been North Salinas' forte as it has returned three turnovers for touchdowns this year.
The Vikings have been balanced on offense with dual threat Lawrence Chambers having rushed for 75 yards while compiling 71 yards in receiving last week.
Isaiah Camel continues to be one of Tim Burkhardt's primary targets with 11 catches. Burkhardt has either thrown or rushed for all five of the Vikings offensive touchdowns this year.
Ben Organista and JoJo Guzman both have two interceptions, each returning one for a pick six this year for the Vikings.
North Salinas has outscored opponents 28-0 in the fourth quarter in its two wins, but was outscored 13-0 in the final 12 minutes in its loss.
Pitman is where 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick went to high school.
