Pacific Grove-Stevenson boys hoops

 This game intrigues me.
The last two teams still undefeated in the Mission Trail Athletic League square off tonight with contrasting seasons.
Stevenson breezed through its non-league schedule, going 7-2 while Pacific Grove was just 1-8.
The Pirates went with the confidence building route while Pacific Grove choose its traditional hard nose approach with a brutal non-league schedule.
Apparently both philosophies worked as both teams are 3-0 in the MTAL.
The Breakers are doing it with defense and the leadership of senior Luke Lowell, having held Carmel to 29 points.

Stevenson has relied on an offensive attack anchored by Matt Chodosh, who is averaging just under 19 points a game, and Jack Burgess, who had a double-double on Wednesday.
Both teams are young. Stevenson has just two seniors while the Breakers have three freshmen and four sophomores on their roster.
