Don't be mislead by Gilroy's 0-5 overall start.

The reigning seven-time league champion Mustangs are still a threat in the Gabilan Division.
Plus Salinas (6-2, 2-0) is winless against Gilroy in its last 18 matches dating back to Jan. 27 of 2004,  having been outscored 43-12.
Of course, scoring has been an issue for Gilroy this winter. The fact of the matter is it hasn't scored. Again, three of those losses have come from teams leading their respective leagues.
 Salinas' attack has centered around Alicia Cuevas and Valeria Tellez, while goalie Sophie Tellez has been sensational between the pipes with three shutouts.
