Monterey-Seaside boys hoops

Don't put too much into the teams first meeting in December in what was called a Sportsmanship Game.
 Simply put. It didn't count.
 This one does.
Seaside demonstrated on Wednesday that when all the parts are in place, it's a formidable team in handing Salinas an eight-point loss.
Tonight could be the first time all year that every player is available for the Spartans.
Monterey proved it can play at times with the elite. What it can't do is have breakdowns for stretches like it did against San Benito
It's still trial by fire for the Toreadores.
Three different players are averaging 10 or more points a game for Monterey, including Austin Shake, who had 18 on Wednesday.
Seaside has an abundance of scorers, including Chris Evans and DeShawn Irving.
