North Salinas-Soquel girls hoops

 This game intrigues me.
 The Vikings are undefeated and untested.
  Soquel is the defending Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League champions, coming off a 25-3 season. Its only setback this winter was to Valley Christian.
 North Salinas has come flying out of the gates, averaging nearly 70 points a game.
 Yet, what gets your attention - or at least should - is the defense, which has held three teams to an average of 28 points a game.
 This is an athletic Vikings team that pushes the tempo, creates havoc on defense and gets a lot of points in transition. This is a deep team in terms of depth.
 Meaning it can push the pedal for all 32 minutes.
 Alyssa Springs, Jordyn Enos and Monae Hobson are all averaging over 10 points a game, while Springs is dropping in nearly 18 a night.
 The two powers faced each other last year with Soquel prevailing 37-31.
