All Star Football Game

Monterey County All Star Game
Friday, 6:30 p.m. at Rabobank Stadium
What you should expect tonight is an aerial show as one coach has promised to put the ball in the air often.
 And why not?
North Salinas quarterback Jusytn Gutierrez threw for over 2,000 yards this past fall, with just four picks in 217 attempts.
On the other side, I'm curious to see how Trinity's Michael Alcaraz stacks up in 11-man football. He threw for over 2,700 yards in 8-man football, completing over 70 percent of his passes.
Alcaraz has no shortest of receivers, starting with Seaside's Ronnie Turner, Salinas' Jon Santos and Trinity teammate Dre Perez.
Gutierrez will have Marina's Brian Hunt, King City's DeAndre Sharif and teammate David Dorr to fling the ball to.
The rules of the game should make it an offensive friendly game -- almost Pro Bowl like.
Start the over/under at 80 points. Recreational purposes only.
