Jordann White

 The Salinas High senior has committed to play softball next year at Sonoma State.
 A three-year starter for the Cowboys, White finished among the team leaders in extra base hits and runs batted in last spring.
 White becomes the eighth player from Salinas in the last two years to earn an softball scholarship.
 White also played water polo this past fall, scoring 28 goals for the league champion Cowboys.
