Marina didn't submit its paperwork for the CCS baseball playoffs.
The CCS had no choice but to eliminate them from the postseason.
This is a painful mistake.
The CCS waited 30 minutes, trying to get a hold of anyone from Marina.
Marina has never been in this position before and probably had no clue about the paperwork.
This is part of the problem when you have two leagues that count as one when when it comes to the playoffs in baseball/softball.
The play-in game between the CAL champion and MTAL third place finisher was on Friday, less than 24 hours before the CCS seeding meeting.
Clearly someone didn't get the message.
This is so unfortunate for the players, who ultimately pay the price.

never heard of anything more irrelevant. What does this have to do with the student's performance on the field?
This is sad. A playoff birth was earned.
