Five teams from the Monterey Bay League's Gabilan Division in softball qualified for the postseason. And all five deserved to go.
But just one came out of the MBL's Pacific Division in champion Seaside. Turning in uniforms will be North County, who finished one game behind Seaside.
The Gabilan Division had three automatics while the Pacific was awarded just one. Points dictated who moved on after that.
So there is no arguement.
