The Padres clearly didn't finish the regular season like they had hoped, dropping their last two games to Stevenson and Marina.
Menlo, who won the West Bay Athletic League, has a seven game winning streak, outscoring league opponents 115-15.
The Knights hit .334 as a team. Menlo pitcher Jack Redmon was 6-1 with a 2.55 earned run average, striking out 43 in 57 innings.
Carmel was 4-11 against teams with a winning record this year. Seniors Dominic Bifano and Traven Tapson led the Padres in hits and runs batted in.
Bifano will catch next year at the University of Oregon.
