San Benito
A 1-2-1 start was followed by an undefeated league season, as the Balers became the last team to win a Tri-County Athletic League title.
While one quarterback has transferred to Sobrato, leading rusher Zach Hicks is back and is just a junior.
Four all leaguers have returned, including Robert Soto, who led San Benito in receptions and interceptions.
San Benito will be big and physical on defense. Surviving its non-league schedule is critical. It includes two-time state champion Palo Alto, as well as CCS Division II finalist Pioneer.
