Ties in football

Should there be ties in prep football?
Personally, I can't stand them. It just leaves you feeling unsatisfied with the outcome.
True, it's not a loss. But the reality is -- it sort of feels like a setback. There's no celebrating ties.
So let's do away with them.
We don't have ties in basketball or volleyball.
Overtimes in college football are exciting. Adopt the college rules. Start the ball at the 35-yard line and work your way in.
Most overtimes in college football seldom last more than 15 minutes.
