This is the risk you run when you put together a brutal non-league season.
Salinas has had lapses in both of its first two games, where it was outscored 21-0 by Atascadero and 27-0 by Seaside.
Salinas doesn't have an offense built to overcome 20 plus point deficits. But if it does a better job of tackling, perhaps it doesn't put itself in those positions.
