West Hills (0-2) at MPC (1-1), 6 p.m.: Tailback Kyle Graf has rushed for 278 yards in the Lobos first two games. Bert Chernetsky and Gerran Gordon have combined for 17 catches for 181 yards. West Hills has lost two games by a combined four points. Its defense has forced eight turnovers and produced two touchdowns. MPC is continuing to alternate quarterbacks David Fales and Daniel Connors.
Chabot (2-0) vs. Hartnell (0-2) at Salinas High Stadium, 6 p.m.: The Panthers have struggled on defense, giving up nearly 900 yards in their two losses. Chabot has outscored opponents 89-16. Chabot's defense has created nine turnovers. Austin Fales made his debut at quarterback for Hartnell, tossing his first collegiate touchdown pass last week. Freshman tailback Alvin Jelks went over 100 yards rushing last week. Marquis Brooks is averaging 19 yards a catch.
