What's a bigger game this week?
St. Francis of Mountain View at Palma.
Seaside at Salinas.
Carmel vs. Menlo at Woodside High.
St. Francis and Palma is a rematch of last year's Open Division playoffs while Menlo and Carmel faced off in the Small Division finals.
Ironically, both these games were Week 1 battles last year as well.
But for me, the biggest game is Seaside at Salinas. The Spartans are The Herald's top ranked team while Salinas is trying to avoid an 0-2 start.
