Avoiding 0-2 starts

It's not impossible to dig yourself out of an 0-2 start. But it can shake a teams confidence.
So while I wouldn't call them must wins, Salinas, North Salinas and Alisal have important games this week.
To avoid an 0-2 start, the Cowboys will have to knock off defending CCS Medium School champ Seaside on Saturday at The Pit.
North Salinas will visit Pioneer, who fell in its season opener as well to West Catholic Athletic League power Mitty 34-7.
And Alisal has a Saturday afternoon affair with North County, who opened its season with a 51 point eruption. The Condors have won the last two meetings with Alisal.
