Carmel will not be represented at this Friday's Salinas Jaycees All-Star football game. And judging by some emails sent to me, there are a few senior players not to pleased about not being invited.
So what happened?
Depends on who you talk too.
The Jaycees said they were told there were no senior players at Carmel because they all played winter sports.
Not so fast.
An administrator at Carmel says they were told the game was canceled. Canceled? Moved maybe. But canceled?
Regardless of who is telling the truth, the bottom line is kids got screwed by an adult's error.
