soccer hiatus

Most prep soccer teams in Monterey County are about to go on a three-week hiatus.
I'm not just talking about games. I'm speaking about practices.
No practice for three weeks?
What would basketball teams look like if everyone disappeared for three weeks?
Why did coaches spend the last eight weeks getting these kids in shape and united as one to play?
Because when they come back in January, there will be a little rust, maybe some fatigue. It essentially becomes a one month season when play resumes.
