Rematch on the hardwood

The hope for Palma is that it will see St. Mary's of Berkeley again in the basketball playoffs.
A lot can happen over the course of three months. But falling 77-49 Saturday to St. Mary's shows that the Chieftains have a LONG ways to go.
But at least Palma knows where it stands. It doesn't take any shortcuts in the preseason. No false perceptions.
Beating up on softer opponents doesn't prepare you for goals most schools don't even bring up.
